You Are Here

You Are Here

A Proposal for Local Project’s “In My Borough” at the Falchi Building

To explore the experience of walking the streets of Long Island City (LIC), artist/landscape architect Richard Alomar (Manhattan) and artist Priscilla Stadler (Queens) propose You Are Here, an installation project that will evolve with community participation over two months during the “In My Borough” exhibition at the Falchi Building. You Are Here encourages a diverse range of people to experience walking through LIC in a different way than they normally would: one that invites mindfulness to being here, while visually weaving together our collective experiences.
